Preliminary realization of state revenue and grants last year reached Rp 1,655.8 trillion, representing 95.4 percent of the 2017 Revised State Budget (APBN-P). This achievement is higher than the 2016 budget realization, which only reached 87.11 percent.
Domestic revenue realization in 2017 reached Rp 1,648.1 trillion, or 95.1 percent, also higher than the previous year's achievement of 86.7 percent. Tax revenue in 2017 reached Rp 1,339.8 trillion, or 90.98 percent (compared to 83.5 percent the previous year), and Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) in 2017 reached Rp 308.4 trillion, or 118.5 percent (compared to 106.9 percent the previous year). Meanwhile, the realization of grant revenue decreased to 245.2 percent from 450 percent previously.
In the 2018 APBN, state revenue is targeted to increase by 9.1 percent to Rp 1,894.72 trillion from the APBN-P 2017 outlook of Rp 1,736.1 trillion, while state expenditure will increase by 5.8 percent to Rp 2,220.66 trillion.
