The daily price of red chilies in traditional markets across South Sulawesi Province has decreased by 31.65% over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 07:44 WIB, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in South Sulawesi Province increased by Rp250 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp29,150.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets has decreased from Rp42,650.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in South Sulawesi over the past three months has fallen by 35.93%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in South Sulawesi Province was traded at Rp45,500.

The record high for the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2024 with an increase of 41.57%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in April 2024 with a decrease of -28.57%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sulawesi show seven commodities decreased and 12 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Curly Red Chili, Rice, Medium II Rice, Chicken Meat, and Fresh Chicken Meat.
