Food Prices on Friday (June 21st) in Yogyakarta: Prices of Oil, Chicken, and Eggs Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (21/6/2024) at 11:11 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, iodized fine salt, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as cayenne pepper, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), shallots, medium rice, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp730 (6.28%) to Rp12,360 per kg. Cayenne pepper saw the sharpest price drop, down Rp4,910 (10.73%) to Rp40,860 per kg.
