10 Provinces with the Highest Chicken Prices (Friday, March 15, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of chicken meat (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 43,600 per kg, data as of Friday, March 15, 2024. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 42,510 per kg.

The daily price of chicken meat in modern markets in East Nusa Tenggara was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 59,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of chicken meat in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 37,300 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in DKI Jakarta, the price of chicken meat was sold at Rp 54,900 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of chicken meat in Bali was Rp 53,900 per kg, Maluku Rp 53,450 per kg, and West Sumatra Rp 52,150 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 19 provinces with chicken meat sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest chicken meat selling prices are Papua, West Kalimantan, and West Sulawesi.
