Indonesia's Food Prices on Tuesday (July 30th): Egg, Sugar, and Beef Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (30/7/2024) at 12:13 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 18 commodities increased in price and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, shallots, premium rice, iodized fine salt, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,160 (1.7%) to Rp69,550 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil decreased the most by Rp30 (0.19%) to Rp16,000 per liter.
