South Sumatra Food Prices Today: Onion Prices Up, Sugar Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (10/12/2024) at 12:21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, Indian mackerel, red chilies, chicken eggs, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish increased the most, by Rp730 (2.65%) to Rp28,230 per kg. The price of bulk wheat flour decreased the most sharply, by Rp120 (1.33%) to Rp8,890 per kg.
