Banten Region Food Prices Thursday (25/4): Chili Prices Up, Rice Prices Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (25/4/2024) at 15:19 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, red chilies, milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, pure beef, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp3,330 (8.55%) to Rp42,280 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the lowest price decrease, falling Rp1,470 (14.07%) to Rp8,980 per kg.
