Today's (17/3) Food Prices in Banten: Egg, Bird's Eye Chili and Chicken Meat Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in Banten today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (March 17, 2026) at 15:46 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler chicken meat, large red chili, broiler eggs, red bird's eye chili, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, only shallots decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Curly red chili prices jumped the highest by Rp4,500 (10.12%) to Rp48,958 per kg. As for shallot prices, they fell the sharpest by Rp208 (0.52%) to Rp40,125 per kg.
