Latest Food Prices in Banten: Onions Up, Chilies Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (19/10/2024) at 12.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, medium-grade rice (SHPH), and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, red chilies, milkfish, farmer-level corn, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp790 (2.2%) to Rp36,780 per kg. The price of farmer-level corn decreased the most, by Rp1,100 (12.14%) to Rp7,960 per kg.
