Jakarta, DKI Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down (Thursday, February 1, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (1/2/2024) at 13.07 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, premium rice, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp900 (1.46%) to Rp62,340 per kg. Skipjack tuna saw the lowest price decrease of Rp620 (1.66%) to Rp36,760 per kg.
