Bali Food Price Update Today: Rice, Chili, and Salt Prices Drop (Saturday, March 9, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (9/3/2024) at 12:29 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, red chilies, whole garlic cloves, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, fine iodized salt, curly red chilies, mackerel, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp260 (3.48%) to Rp7,740 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease, dropping Rp740 (2.1%) to Rp34,480 per kg.
