Today's Food Prices (15/1) in DKI Jakarta: Soybeans Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (15/1/2026) at 17.57 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were bulk palm cooking oil, Honan garlic, and imported soybeans.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, large red chili, red onion, curly red chili, and beef hind shank decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Imported soybeans had the highest increase of Rp400 (2.78%) to Rp14,800 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices had the deepest decrease of Rp2,250 (4.79%) to Rp44,750 per kg.

7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp39,500 per kg (down 0.92%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp30,300 per kg (down 0.66%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,500 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,467 per liter (up 0.35%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp18,275 per kg (stable)
