Today's Food Prices, December 03, in South Sumatra: Egg, Onion, and Rice Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (3/12/2025) at 13:54 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are shallots and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Honan garlic, curly red chili, broiler eggs, premium rice, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper saw the highest increase of Rp3,750 (6.94%) to Rp57,750 per kg. The price of large red chili, however, experienced the sharpest decline of Rp1,916 (2.82%) to Rp65,917 per kg.

4. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp57,750 per kg (up 6.94%)
5. Shallots: Rp44,833 per kg (up 6.11%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp38,333 per kg (unchanged)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp33,917 per kg (down 0.49%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp28,292 per kg (down 0.29%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,000 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,000 per liter (unchanged)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,000 per kg (unchanged)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,800 per liter (unchanged)
13. Premium Rice: Rp14,448 per kg (down 0.2%)
