Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (9/12/2024) at 10:48 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged simple cooking oil, granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, shallots, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, broiler chicken, medium rice, pure beef, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,100 (2.64%) to Rp42,790 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies saw the sharpest decrease of Rp1,950 (5.25%) to Rp35,190 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 19 food commodities in DKI Jakarta according to Bapanas on December 9, 2024, at 10:48 WIB.

6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,360 per kg (up 0.8%)
7. Broiler Chicken: Rp36,320 per kg (down 4.77%)
8. Mackerel: Rp36,190 per kg (down 0.14%)
9. Red Chili: Rp35,190 per kg (down 5.25%)
