Banten Region Food Prices Wednesday (11/13): Prices of Chicken, Onions, and Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (13/11/2024) at 12:06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, premium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,660 (4.78%) to Rp36,410 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the steepest price drop, falling Rp600 (7.48%) to Rp7,420 per kg.
