Current Food Prices in Jambi: Chili Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (30/7/2024) at 12:58 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

The only commodity that increased in price was red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, shallots, curly red chilies, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp140 (0.22%) to Rp63,560 per kg. Mackerel experienced the largest price drop, falling by Rp920 (2.56%) to Rp35,030 per kg.
