Food Prices Today in DKI Jakarta: Onions Up, Oil Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (October 9, 2025) at 12:14 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are large red chili, red onion, kembung fish, pure beef, and red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, curly red chili, broiler chicken meat, bulk cooking oil, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onion commodity surged the highest by Rp551 (1.21%) to Rp46,176 per kg. The price of bulk cooking oil dropped the deepest by Rp154 (0.81%) to Rp18,923 per liter.
