Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Chili Prices Up, Rice Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (4/8/2024) at 12:09 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, kembung fish, tongkol fish, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, broiler chicken eggs, premium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp5,580 (7.18%) to Rp83,300 per kg. Premium rice experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,020 (6.44%) to Rp14,820 per kg.

6. Broiler Chicken: Rp38,620 per kg (down 2.45%)
7. Tongkol Fish: Rp36,590 per kg (up 1.16%)
