West Java Food Prices Friday (May 10th): Onion and Rice Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (10/5/2024) at 13:30 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, skipjack tuna, milkfish, medium rice, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp270 (1.69%) to Rp16,260 per liter. Red chili peppers experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,460 (4.02%) to Rp34,850 per kg.
