Daily Beef Prices at Modern Markets in West Java Province Increased by 0.06% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 17:23 WIB, the daily price of beef in modern markets in West Java Province has decreased by Rp 4,250 per kg compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 176,650 per kg.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of beef in modern markets has decreased from Rp 186,750 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of beef in modern markets in West Java over the past three months has increased by 0.71% from the previous price of Rp 175,400 per kg.

The highest record of daily beef price increases in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2024 with an increase of 10.11%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in April 2024 with a decrease of -8.42%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Java show nine commodities decreased and 18 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Beef, Grade 1 Beef, Grade 2 Beef, Chicken Eggs, Red Onion, Medium-Sized Red Onion, and Garlic.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price developments over the past month in West Java Province:

1. Rice per kg: Rp 14,500 per kg (up 1.05%)
2. Green Chili per kg: Rp 100,900 per kg (up 51.84%)
3. Red Chili per kg: Rp 113,750 per kg (up 52.07%)
4. Chili per kg: Rp 107,350 per kg (up 41.9%)
5. Low-Quality Rice I per kg: Rp 13,250 per kg (up 0.38%)
6. Curly Red Chili per kg: Rp 95,500 per kg (up 45.58%)
7. Branded Cooking Oil Package 2 per kg: Rp 21,450 per kg (up 1.66%)
8. Branded Cooking Oil Package 1 per kg: Rp 22,750 per kg (up 4.12%)
9. Cooking Oil per kg: Rp 22,100 per kg (up 8.87%)
10. Chicken Meat per kg: Rp 42,550 per kg (down 1.5%)
11. Large Red Chili per kg: Rp 89,400 per kg (up 23.65%)
12. Super Quality Rice II per kg: Rp 14,950 per kg (unchanged)
13. Fresh Broiler Chicken per kg: Rp 42,550 per kg (down 0.47%)
