Food Prices in Aceh Friday (5/9): Red Chili Prices Rise, Chicken Meat Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to rise compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (5/9/2025) at 11:04 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler eggs, Minyakita cooking oil, large red chilies, red onions, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as garlic cloves, broiler chicken meat, packaged wheat flour, consumption salt, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Large red chilies saw the highest surge of Rp12,000 (21.05%) to Rp69,000 per kg. The price of broiler chicken meat dropped most sharply by Rp523 (1.65%) to Rp31,240 per kg.
