Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Food Price Update: Chicken and Egg Prices Rise (Friday, February 9, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (9/2/2024) at 12:17 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, shallots, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean seeds (import), mackerel, medium rice, shallot bulbs, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp7,580 (12.65%) to Rp67,500 per kg. Mackerel experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp6,190 (17.22%) to Rp29,750 per kg.

9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,850 per kg (up 8.51%)
