Price of Large Red Chilies in Traditional Markets, May 2024-2025

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 14:44 WIB, the daily price of large red chilies in Jambi province's traditional markets increased by Rp10,150 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp53,150.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets has increased from Rp45,650.

Over the past three months, the daily price of large red chilies in Jambi's traditional markets has increased by 107.21%, from Rp25,650.

The highest price increase for daily large red chilies in the province's traditional markets was recorded in January 2024, at 127.75%, while the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2019, at -49.6%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Jambi show eight commodities decreased and 16 increased. The commodities with decreased prices are: Daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Broiler Chicken in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium Quality II Rice, Garlic, Medium-sized Garlic, Daily Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Green Chili in Traditional Markets by Province.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today, compared to the price changes over the past month in Jambi province:

5. Chicken Meat per Kg, daily in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp31,750 (down 7.3%)
6. Fresh Broiler Chicken per Kg, daily in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp31,750 (down 7.3%)
