East Java Food Prices Today: Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (14/5/2024) at 14.07 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, pure beef, farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, garlic bulbs, mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest at Rp1,520 (4.76%) to Rp33,450 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the least at Rp390 (1.78%) to Rp21,490 per kg.
