Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region on Tuesday (24/12): Oil and Chili Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (24/12/2024) at 11:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, pure beef, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, premium rice, skipjack tuna, garlic bulbs, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp4,570 (8.95%) to Rp55,650 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the most by Rp3,580 (6.38%) to Rp52,510 per kg.
