Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Egg and Chili Prices Drop

The price of several food commodities in Banten today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (23/10/2024) at 08.47 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, garlic cloves, premium rice, granulated sugar, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, dry soybean (import), chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, and chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp570 (4.82%) to Rp12,390 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of milkfish decreased the most, by Rp4,050 (12.34%) to Rp28,780 per kg.
