Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Chili and Onion Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (6/12/2024) at 12:19 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, red chilies, milkfish, iodized fine salt, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, shallots, dry soybeans (import), pure beef, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil experienced the highest price increase of Rp610 (3.61%), reaching Rp17,510 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybeans (import) decreased the most sharply by Rp130 (1.4%), reaching Rp9,140 per kg.
