The average daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets across West Sulawesi Province has decreased by 21.78% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in West Sulawesi Province is recorded at Rp32,850. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly, there has been no change in price over the past week.

However, compared to the last month, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets has increased from the previous record of Rp29,000.

Meanwhile, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in West Sulawesi over the past three months has increased by 94.38% from the previous record of Rp16,900.

The highest record for the daily price increase of large red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2021 with an increase of 167.97%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in May 2021 with a decrease of -61.22%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Sulawesi show four commodities decreased and 14 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Curly Red Chilies, Medium-Sized Shallots, Garlic, and Medium-Sized Garlic.
