Today's Food Prices (06/2) in Indonesia: Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Eggs Fall

Several food commodity prices in Indonesia today were observed to rise compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (February 6, 2026) at 14:23 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 7 commodities rose and 1 commodity fell.

Commodities that increased in price are large red chili, curly red chili, broiler chicken meat, Honan garlic, and bulk palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, only broiler chicken eggs fell compared to yesterday's price.

Red bird's eye chili prices jumped the highest by Rp2,300 (3.57%) to Rp66,800 per kg. Meanwhile, broiler chicken egg prices fell the deepest by Rp100 (0.3%) to Rp32,700 per kg.

Here is the complete list of 16 food commodity prices in Indonesia according to SP2KP Kemendag on February 6, 2026 at 14:23 WIB.

2. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp66,800 per kg (up 3.57%)
3. Large Red Chili: Rp43,900 per kg (up 0.92%)
4. Shallots: Rp42,700 per kg (unchanged)
5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp41,700 per kg (up 0.24%)
6. Curly Red Chili: Rp40,700 per kg (up 0.99%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp39,700 per kg (up 0.25%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp32,700 per kg (down 0.3%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,400 per liter (unchanged)
