Indonesia's Food Prices on Thursday (June 27th): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (27/6/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, Indian mackerel, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest, by Rp1,710 (3.75%) to Rp47,370 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most sharply, by Rp2,680 (8.1%) to Rp30,390 per kg.
