Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta Region: Egg Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (4/7/2024) at 11:43 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, milkfish, chicken eggs, red chilies, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, pure beef, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), mackerel, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of garlic bulbs saw the highest increase of Rp2,010 (4.72%) to Rp44,580 per kg. The price of iodized fine salt saw the largest decrease of Rp1,110 (9.54%) to Rp10,530 per kg.
