Food Prices in Jambi on Tuesday (June 11th): Rice and Onion Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (11/6/2024) at 09.49 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are red chilies, milkfish, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, shallots, broiler chicken, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp5,400 (10.38%) to Rp57,410 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,190 (4.18%) to Rp27,270 per kg.
