State Revenue Realization Grew by 16.89% in September 2021

The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) recorded state revenue realization reaching Rp 1,354.83 trillion in September 2021. This figure grew by 16.89% from the same period the previous year, which was Rp 1,158.99 trillion.

This realization reached 77.70% of its target in the 2021 State Budget (APBN). The target for state revenue in this year's APBN is recorded at Rp 1,743.6 trillion.

In detail, state revenue from taxes was recorded at Rp 850.06 trillion in September 2021. This amount increased by 13.25% compared to September 2020, which was Rp 750.62 trillion.

The realization of non-tax state revenue (PNBP) was recorded at Rp 320.84 trillion in September 2021. This amount increased by 22.53% compared to September of last year, which was Rp 261.83 trillion.

Meanwhile, state revenue from customs and excise duties was recorded at Rp 182.92 trillion in the ninth month of this year. This amount increased by 28.98% compared to the same period last year, which was Rp 141.82 trillion.

Furthermore, the realization of state expenditure reached Rp 1,806.8 trillion in September 2021. This value decreased by 1.9% from September 2020, which reached Rp 1,841.3 trillion.

Thus, Indonesia still experienced a budget deficit of Rp 452 trillion. This deficit is equivalent to 2.74% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
