Latest Food Prices in Bali: Rice, Onion, and Chicken Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (17/10/2024) at 09.31 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, dry soybean (import), red chilies, iodized fine salt, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, garlic bulbs, curly red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel fish saw the highest increase, up by Rp2,250 (6.13%) to Rp38,950 per kg. The price of bulk cooking oil saw the largest decrease, down by Rp350 (2.09%) to Rp16,380 per liter.
