Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Salt and Beef Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (December 2nd, 2024) at 5:52 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are milkfish, Indian mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), pure beef, and fine iodized salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, bulk wheat flour, shallots, red chilies, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Indian mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp540 (1.52%), reaching Rp36,060 per kg. Meanwhile, bulk wheat flour experienced the largest price decrease of Rp330 (3.01%), reaching Rp10,640 per kg.
