Latest Food Prices in Lampung Region: Chili Up, Onions Down (Monday, January 15, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (15/1/2024) at 20.22 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, granulated sugar, iodized fine salt, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, curly red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp930 (1.99%) to Rp47,730 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots saw the lowest price decrease of Rp2,170 (6.56%) to Rp30,920 per kg.
