Banten Food Prices on Saturday (21/12): Salt Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 12:21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, garlic bulbs, SPHP rice, broiler chicken meat, and fine iodized salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean seeds (import), farmer-level corn, broiler chicken eggs, tongkol fish, and kembung fish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fine iodized salt experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp1,120 (11.06%) to Rp11,250 per kg. Wheat flour (loose) saw the sharpest price decrease, down by Rp310 (3.02%) to Rp9,950 per kg.
