Price of Green Bird's Eye Chili in Modern Markets March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 16:23 WIB, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in modern markets of East Kalimantan province has not changed compared to the previous day, just like the price development in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in modern markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp162,450 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in modern markets in East Kalimantan over the last three months has decreased by 4.22%. According to the historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of green bird's eye chili in modern markets of East Kalimantan province is traded at Rp142,200 per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of green bird's eye chili in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2021 with an increase of 50.75%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2017 with a decrease of -22.05%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods today in East Kalimantan shows that 22 commodities have decreased and three others have increased. The staple foods with decreased prices are Super I Quality Rice, Green Bird's Eye Chili, Red Bird's Eye Chili, Medium I Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Granulated Sugar, Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs, Bird's Eye Chili, Chicken Eggs, Shallots, Grade 2 Beef, Medium-sized Shallots, Garlic, Medium-sized Garlic, Beef, Red Chili, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Large Red Chili, Chicken Meat, Rice, Curly Red Chili and Premium Quality Granulated Sugar.

Following are the prices of nine staple foods monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price development in the last month in East Kalimantan province:

7. Granulated Sugar per Kg Rp17,600 per kg (down 0.56%)
8. Cooking Oil per Kg Rp22,050 per kg (up 2.8%)
9. Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs per Kg Rp38,550 per kg (down 0.13%)
10. Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp126,700 per kg (down 17.57%)
