Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Oil, Chicken, and Eggs Increase

Food prices in Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (11/8/2024) at 12:09 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, broiler chicken, chicken eggs, milkfish, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, red chilies, shallots, medium rice, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,200 (5.9%) to Rp39,480 per kg. Shallot prices saw the largest decrease, dropping Rp1,910 (5.46%) to Rp33,090 per kg.
