Latest Food Prices in Jakarta: Salt Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (28/9/2024) at 15.21 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are wheat flour (bulk), pure beef, skipjack tuna, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, premium rice, chicken eggs, chicken meat, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp360 (3.19%) to Rp11,650 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp3,310 (8.9%) to Rp33,880 per kg.

6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp35,830 per kg (up 2.25%)
7. Chicken Meat: Rp34,820 per kg (down 1.19%)
8. Red Chilies: Rp33,880 per kg (down 8.9%)
9. Shallots: Rp28,120 per kg (down 7.59%)
