According to a report by the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas), the realization of subsidized fuel distribution for Pertalite and solar has exceeded 50% of the quota since the beginning of the year until June 20, 2022.

Meanwhile, subsidized solar distribution has reached approximately 7.73 million KL, or 51.24% of the total quota this year.

"If no control measures are implemented, we will face a situation where subsidized fuel runs out between October and November 2022, and at the end of 2022, distribution will exceed the quota," said Saleh, as reported by *Katadata.co.id*, Thursday (30/6/2022).

"In terms of control, consumers entitled to subsidized solar are comprehensively regulated in Presidential Regulation No. 191 of 2014, such as transportation, black license plates, yellow license plates, fisheries, agriculture up to 2 hectares, public services, and so on. State-owned enterprise vehicles and government vehicles are not mentioned there," explained Saleh.

Saleh emphasized that BPH Migas has regulations setting maximum purchase volumes of subsidized fuel for consumers: a maximum of 60 liters/day for private vehicles, 80 liters/day for goods and passenger vehicles, and 200 liters/day for six-wheeled vehicles and above.

Starting July 1, 2022, purchasers of subsidized Pertalite and solar fuel must also register on the MyPertamina website or application. Only registered consumers can purchase these two types of fuel.
