Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The price of several food commodities in Banten today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at 12:06 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, red chilies, pure beef, red chili peppers, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp2,970 (8.15%), reaching Rp39,410 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease of Rp2,380 (5.03%), reaching Rp44,930 per kg.
