Yogyakarta Special Region Food Prices Tuesday (22/4): Salt Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (22/4/2025) at 10:34 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, shallots, bulk wheat flour, chicken eggs, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, Minyakita (branded cooking oil), premium rice, bulk cooking oil, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,000 (2.56%) to Rp40,000 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the steepest price drop of Rp4,312 (6.46%) to Rp62,471 per kg.
