Latest Food Prices in Jakarta: Egg Prices Rise, Rice Prices Fall (Monday, February 26, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (26/2/2024) at 11:01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), shallots, bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, dry soybean (import), Indian mackerel, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken eggs saw the highest price increase of Rp820 (2.78%) to Rp30,360 per kg. Indian mackerel experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp2,260 (6.36%) to Rp33,260 per kg.
