Yogyakarta Special Region's Current Food Prices: Chili Prices Rise, Rice Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (13/8/2024) at 12.20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, premium rice, bulk cooking oil, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, medium rice, chicken eggs, pure beef, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase of Rp260 (0.71%) to Rp36,670 per kg. Medium rice saw the sharpest price drop of Rp280 (2.12%) to Rp12,910 per kg.
