Latest Food Prices in Central Java Region: Salt, Oil, and Sugar Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (15/9/2025) at 1:55 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 16 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include garlic bulbs, packaged wheat flour, bulk wheat flour, packaged cooking oil, and consumption sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as fresh buffalo meat (local), pure beef, medium rice, skipjack tuna, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili commodity jumped the highest by Rp4,695 (11.54%) to Rp45,393 per kg. Meanwhile, skipjack tuna price dropped the deepest by Rp400 (1.23%) to Rp32,125 per kg.
