Residents of Majene Regency spend Rp22.56 per capita per week on instant tea.

In Majene Regency in 2023, per capita weekly expenditure on instant tea was Rp22.56. This figure surged compared to the previous year's expenditure of Rp18.18 per capita per week.

Per capita expenditure refers to the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members over a month, divided by the number of household members. This expenditure can be categorized into two parts: food and non-food needs.

Expenditure on food consumption is calculated weekly, while non-food expenditure is calculated monthly and for the past 12 months. Both food and non-food consumption are then converted into average monthly expenditure. The average per capita consumption/expenditure figures presented in BPS publications are obtained by dividing the total consumption of all households (both consuming food and not) by the total population.
