Today's Food Prices (06/3) in DKI Jakarta: Oil, Bird's Eye Chili and Beef Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in DKI Jakarta today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (March 6, 2026) at 18:01 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities that experienced price increases include broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, bulk palm cooking oil, red bird's eye chili, and beef rump.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Honan garlic, premium packaged palm cooking oil, shallots, large red chili, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices jumped the highest by Rp1,250 (1.19%) to Rp106,250 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices dropped the most by Rp2,916 (5.47%) to Rp50,417 per kg.

4. Shallots: Rp52,083 per kg (down 2.34%)
5. Curly Red Chili: Rp50,417 per kg (down 5.47%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp42,278 per kg (up 0.2%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp41,653 per kg (down 0.5%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp32,042 per kg (up 0.13%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp21,313 per liter (down 0.19%)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,960 per liter (up 0.53%)
