Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Tuesday, February 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (13/2/2024) at 14:38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, medium rice, premium rice, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, bulk cooking oil, shallots, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp1,580 (5.66%) to Rp29,510 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of farmer-level corn decreased the most by Rp450 (5.8%) to Rp7,310 per kg.
