Latest Banten Region Food Prices: Rice, Cooking Oil, and Sugar Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (30/6/2024) at 14.41 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, dry soybean (import), curly red chili, bulk wheat flour, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken eggs, Indian mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp2,350 (6.49%) to Rp38,540 per kg. Meanwhile, iodized fine salt experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,250 (10.2%) to Rp11,010 per kg.
